HYDROCHEM 502 is a balanced blend of corrosion and scale inhibitors designed for use in open recirculating water systems and also an
environment friendly chemistry to meet the regulatory needs of many industries.
1. Hydrochem 502 contains unique blend of phosphonate inhibitors for both threshold level scale and corrosion inhibitors. They are
particularly applicable to systems where calcium carbonate and/or sulfate scales are evident.
2. Contains no molybdenum or zinc to meet environmental needs.
3. Proprietary High Stress Polymer dispersant.
4. Thermally and hydrolytically stable and therefore retains its inhibitive properties over a wide range of pH.
5. It’s an organic product, effective over a broad range of application parameters.

RECOMMENDED USAGE AND APPLICATION :
Hydrochem 502 must be fed continuously to maintain at a level of 60 – 120 ppm in circulating water systems. For effective results, the product
dosage should be determined after considering the recirculating water characteristics and system temperature. The optimum level depends on
specific plant operating conditions and type of water.
The dosage of Hydrochem 502 is controlled by determining organic phosphate in a sample of circulating water by spectrophotometer.
Hydrochem 502 must be handled with care. Contact with eyes, skin and clothing should be strictly avoided. In case of contact wash away the
affected area with warm soapy water. Eye contamination should be treated by irrigation with water for at least 10 minutes followed by medical
attention. Hydrochem 502 is harmful. If swallowed, immediately attend medical attention.
Hydrochem 502 is completely stable during storage and transportation even under adverse conditions.
Store the containers tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizers. Store in suitable labeled containers.
Spillages of this material should be soaked up using earth or sand and sent to a licensed disposal site. The contaminated area should be washed
with water and detergent.
